My name is Karl Adami
I was born in Estonia in 1991. As a child, I spent most of my free time at summer cottage, which was surrounded by forests, rivers, life. At one point, I managed to steer away from country life as well as from nature, but luckily not for too long. I had my first contact with nature photography when I was about 15 years old and to be honest, photography brought me back to nature. In a way you could say, that my interest in nature was reborn out of my interest in photography.
Over the years, a large number of my stories and photos have been published in various newspapers and magazines (including international National Geographic). In recent years, I’ve been focusing more on forest habitats and forestry practices. This has led to collaboration with Birdlife Europe and Central Asia, Greenpeace, NRDC, Fern and Estonian Fund for Nature. Apart from photography, lately I have been filming various unique moments in nature.
